Just a quick walk from the Esplanade, Fort Cornwallis is one of the oldest structures in Penang. This historic site houses a chapel, a gunpowder magazine, a holding cell (great for the ‘Gram, by the way) and the Seri Rambai cannon, believed to have the power to improve the fertility of women who place flowers on its barrel.
