Huay Tung Tao Lake Tourism Promotion Centre has unveiled an addition to the popular straw mother-child duo, by adding a mighty daddy Kong statue today. Costing 410,000 baht, daddy Kong, which reaches 8 metres in height and has a hollowed insides where visitors can see its many organs, now stands next to his Kong family on the shores of the popular lake. This is the largest Kong family in the world, with Daddy Kong taking 23 day’s to make out of a steel structure and covers with straw from local farms.
